Division 1 (1/2″ through 2-1/2″) — Class I, Groups A–D · Class II, Groups E, F, G · Class III — with cable that has continuous corrugated aluminum armor marked MC-HL. The WTPC must be threaded in for Division 1. Division 2 (all sizes, 1/2″ through 4″) — Class I, Groups A–D · Class II, Groups F, G · Class III — with interlocked steel or aluminum armor, or MC-HL. The 3″, 3-1/2″ and 4″ sizes are Division 2 only. These ratings are for the 3M Scotchcast 2131 sealing compound included with every fitting. Packing fiber goes around the throat so the two-part sealing compound (both included) does not run out while it sets; two brass ¼″ NPT fill ports let you pour the seal after the connection is made and tested, then check the fill level.
